This is someone with 8+ years (i.e., lots of) of experience in the software development playground. We are looking for someone who has managed teams and has knowledge of high availability and distributed systems. - Excellent programming skills -- experience with Ruby, Scala, Storm, Javascript, Java or C++ - Experience with Hadoop, Cassandra, and high availability systems is a strong plus - 8+ years of experience building large scale high performance distributed systems If you think you have what it takes to work in a Silicon Valley company (Ooyala is based in Mountain View, California) but want to live in Mexico then Ooyala is the perfect bet.
