sqrrl, a venture-backed startup in Cambridge, MA, is building a secure, scalable platform for big data apps. The core of our platform is Apache Accumulo, the Hadoop-backed BigTable implementation open-sourced by the NSA. We're always looking for developers with experience implementing search, analytics, and DBMS platforms. Our ideal candidates have a history of open source contributions and experience with the Hadoop stack, including Accumulo or other BigTable-derived systems like HBase, Cassandra, etc. Right now we have a small (and growing) team of excellent engineers located in Kendall Square.
