Security Researcher | Cisco Systems, Inc. | Austin, TX | http://www.cisco.com/ A link to the formal job description follows but here's the short version: Our primary objective is to find security weaknesses/vulnerabilities in Cisco products using techniques like code analysis, fuzzing and attack modeling. We go a lot further than using blackbox techniques or red-teaming. Folks who are successful in our organization are very comfortable with large code bases, writing custom tools, reading RFCs, etc. etc. We are looking for both entry level and experienced candidates. For experienced candidates, we are looking for folks who have experience finding vulnerabilities in enterprise products and leading teams (or the desire to lead teams) doing security deep very technical assessments.
