San Francisco, CA - Academia.edu - Full Time Onsite We're a team of 15 engineers (22 total) building an Open Science platform to bring the world's research online, available to all, for free. With over 27M registered users (that's a user-to-engineer ratio of 1.8M to 1!) and growing at 10% per month, we're looking to reach to 60M registered within the next year. We're currently working on products which accelerate the speed of paper peer review and publication. We're hiring full-stack engineers, front-end engineers, an infrastructure engineer, devops, and a product designer. We use Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Postgres, Nginx, Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Kafka, Backbone, and React on AWS. We're 3 blocks from the Montgomery BART station.
