Internet Archive | San Francisco | Onsite or Remote | Full-time
The Internet Archive is a non-profit library with a huge mission: to give everyone access to all knowledge — the books, web pages, audio, television, and software of our shared human culture. Forever. Based in San Francisco, with satellite offices around the world, the Internet Archive's staffers are building the digital library of the future -- a place where we can all go to learn and explore.
We are looking for smart, collaborative and resourceful engineers to help advance and develop web-delivered services, including the next versions of the Wayback Machine, website, and digital library tools. Ideal candidates will possess a desire to work collaboratively
with a small internal team and a large, vocal, and active user community; demonstrate independence, creativity, initiative, thoughtful design, and technological savvy -- all in addition to being great programmers and engineers. We are seeking both back-end and front-end developers, with proven experience delivering projects in Python and JavaScript. We also have many projects working primarily in PHP.
