Electrical engineering at Formlabs bridges the gap between the analog and digital worlds. If you love to design and build boards from the ground up, develop firmware to control complex electromechanical systems, and produce elegant solutions to real-world problems we want you to join our team as an Electrical Engineer.
The job:
Engineer the most amazing desktop 3D printer on the market
Design high performance electronics for manufacturability
Develop sensors and controls for a sophisticated electromechanical system
Create laser light shows for Formlabs parties
You:
* Have at least 3-5 years experience working in the field
* Can share a portfolio or examples of projects
* Are a master of analog and digital systems
* Comfortable developing and debugging firmware for embedded systems
* Work with common embedded peripherals and communication protocols
* Seamlessly integrate complex electromechanical subsystems
* Familiar with signal processing and controls
* Approach PCB design with a sense of craftsmanship
* Can prototype your own designs
* Have experience with the full product development cycle
* Communicate seamlessly with vendors and suppliers across the globe
* Are hands-on and willing to cross discipline boundaries to solve a problem
