We're headquartered in Berkeley, CA, but are currently hiring for the position of Backend Engineer out of our Seattle office. Our Backend Team has a need for an engineer with strong programming skills and the ability to write quality production code. Responsibilities in this position will include: * Design and implement scalable, highly available software services in Python. * Build and improve infrastructure automation. * Monitor, diagnose and fix production issues. Our ideal candidate has the following: * At least 3-5 years of industry experience as a Software Engineer or similar. * Familiarity with Docker or other containerization technologies. * Proficiency with a general purpose language like Python or C++. * Experience working with Linux and cloud platforms (AWS, etc).
