The GBIF Secretariat, located in Copenhagen, is looking for a talented Software Developer with experience in DevOps practices to work in a small team responsible for the GBIF.org
API and all aspects of the related data publishing and large scale/big data crawling that support it. The post is a full-time position located in Copenhagen.
Key technologies: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Java, Scala, Solr, Cloudera, ElasticSearch, Ansible, HBase, RESTful and microservice architectures.
The starting salary is 51268DKK per month (that's about €6900/mth or €83k/year), and is exempt from Danish tax. We can't pay for relocation for this role.
Full relocation and insurance packages are included.
