You will join a team of 15 forensic data scientists within the Netherlands Forensic Institute. We use state-of-the-art big data analytics and machine learning to solve challenging forensic problems. Some example projects: * Train a neural network to recognize and label forensically relevant objects in terabytes of photos. * Find and link entities in large collections of documents in cold cases using text mining. * Unravel criminal networks on the dark web using Neo4j and interactive visualizations. * Use Bayesian statistics to evaluate digital evidence in a criminal court case.
