Materialize | Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) | NYC (ONSITE) | https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/materialize/jobs/5434722004 Materialize is a cloud operational data store (ODS) enabling fast, incremental, and consistent transformations of live data using SQL. We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer as a member of our Cloud Infrastructure team, which owns and operates our managed cloud, ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our SaaS product. You will also contribute to our self-managed offering (Helm chart + Kube operator) that allows our customers to run Materialize in their cloud of choice. What we’re looking for: - 5+ years of experience as a software engineer focused on platform / cloud infrastructure. - Deep experience with the cloud infrastructure of one or more of the major providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), and know your infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g. Terraform, Pulumi, etc.) through and through. - You love to build, wrangle, operate, and especially simplify, complex distributed systems. - You are able to work from our NYC office (or are open to relocation). Bonus points: - Familiarity with or interest in ramping up on frontend development (React/TypeScript) - Familiarity with developing and operating software systems that run across a variety of deployment models (e.g. SaaS, BYOC, on-prem). Compensation: $175–$210K + equity. Backed by Kleiner Perkins and Lightspeed ($100M+ raised). We’re committed to building a diverse, world-class team.
