Thorn | San Francisco or Remote (US based) | Full-time Contract | $90k - $150k | Software Engineer | https://www.wearethorn.org/ Thorn is searching for a Full Stack Engineer and a Full Stack Engineer with Data Engineering Experience to join its engineering team as a full-time (40 hrs/week) contractor. This is a 9 month contract, with the possibility of extension. Thorn is a non-profit focused on building technology to defend children from sexual abuse. Our staff solves dynamic, quickly evolving problems with our network of partners from tech companies, NGOs, and law enforcement agencies. You will work on building an application from beginning to end that assists law enforcement in identifying the most vulnerable victims. The work spans engineering topics from single-page web application development to API endpoint creation to data engineering pipelines.
