Farmdrop | Ruby Developers, all levels | London | Full-time | On-site Farmdrop is the ethical online supermarket, delivering the freshest groceries from a network of sustainable food producers, and on fair terms. We're looking for developers to come and join our tech team. We're looking for one lead developer, along with a few less senior developers. We'd also be happy to hear from senior developers who don't want to be leads. We can also offer training if you would like to be a lead but have no experience of management. Our backend application is written in Ruby-on-Rails, but we have a number of smaller Ruby services running without rails. We try to pick the best tool for the job. We've got some production systems running with databases like couchdb and neo4j for some specific use cases but we mainly stick to Postgres. We're also introducing Kafka more into our system for communication between services.
