Our products have enabled researchers to write over 800 research papers on discoveries across the life sciences in infectious disease, oncology, immunology, and many other fields. Our products are being actively used by Vanderbilt and many others to develop vaccines and therapies for COVID-19. Software is an integral part of the 10x Genomics product. We develop software to generate data that scientists can explore programmatically or visually. We utilize Go, React/Redux, Typescript, and Electron to create easy-to-use visualization applications. Our data pipelines are written using Python on the Numpy/Scipy/Pandas stack but we're making increasing use of Rust to accelerate and harden parts of this bioinformatics code.
