PetsApp | Backend / Full stack engineers / London, UK | REMOTE EU | Salary up to $120k PetsApp (https://petsapp.com) is a startup with a mission to make veterinary expertise more accessible. Right now only 20% of issues a pet faces are seen by a vet, with the remaining 80% being left hoping for the best. We are a small but mighty, and have achieved great things since we launched in January 2020: >125k chats, >£1m in payments, >70k pets on the platform. We've just closed seed round of funding of around $4.5 million, and are now expanding our engineering team. We have built a fantastic set of user facing applications using React and React Native, all supported by our APIs running on AWS using Lambdas with Typescript, Dynamodb, SNS, Elasticsearch, and Postgres. We're now looking for engineers with strong backend experience to come and join our team. Ideal candidate will have: - Experience with a streaming/event driven architecture - Experience standing up infrastructure in cloud of choice - Experience with Typescript or another strongly typed language Current tech: - Typescript lambdas (node.js) - Dynamodb - SNS - Elasticsearch - React - React native - Postgres Send your CV to will@petsapp.com
