MethaneSAT (subsidiary of EDF, the Environmental Defense Fund) | Remote-first US based | Full-time | Front-End Software Engineer | https://www.methanesat.org/careers Interested in meaningful work? Want to have a hand in combating climate change? Want to be part of a product that will literally launch (into space)? MethaneSAT’s mission is to map and measure worldwide methane emissions, with the aim of reducing those emissions and making this data available free of charge (read more: https://www.methanesat.org/about-methanesat/). The big challenge of the frontend will be translating the hard data downloaded from the satellite into formats usable by a variety of audiences. React + TypeScript. This is a US-based remote team, and post-covid it will continue to be remote.
