About the position Storybolt is looking to hire its first full time technology employee to design, build and maintain its technology stack. This role is a combination of strategic and hands on and is ideally suited for someone to take on a leadership role and grow with the company. Duties and Responsibilities Create a technology roadmap based on existing and future business needs Analyze company goals surrounding technology and design an appropriate architecture Research and select technology to support the organizational roadmap and architecture Implement and deploy rapidly in a lean manner Knowledge and Skills Successful candidates will have several of the following: 5+ years of full time professional development experience Backend experience in at least one common MVC framework (Django, Rails, Express, etc) Frontend experience in at least one component based framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc) Understanding of DevOps and cloud operations Has the creativity to build a technology roadmap from the ground-up Education Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience *No visa sponsorship is provided.
