Indeed | Software Engineer, Assessments Team | Full-time | REMOTE or Austin, TX The Assessments team at Indeed was born out of a YCombinator startup (Interviewed YCS15) that was acquired by Indeed in 2017. We now administer over 100MM skills assessments per year to job seekers worldwide. We have two open positions for full-stack engineers who want to help us tackle a variety of scaling and product challenges. I'm biased, but IMO we're a great team doing interesting work for a company with a genuinely positive mission. In addition to our startup roots, our team is a bit unique in that (a) we own both employer and job seeker-facing deployables, (b) we work in both Java and Ruby on Rails codebases, and (c) we were heavily remote even before COVID. For these new roles we support remote in most US states, but working from our Austin office when it reopens is also an option.
