Deutsche Bahn Fernverkehr | Chief Supply Chain Data Scientist | Frankfurt am Main, Germany | Full-time | HYBRID (mostly WFH with 2d at the office) As the supply chain management of the spare parts of Germany's fast trains, we aim to bring our inventory management and forecasting to the next level so that we can tackle all the ambitious goals that come with Germany's "Mobilitätswende" (national sustainable transporation goals). Our supply chain is complex in the sense that we face a diverse supply/maintenance network, coupled with sparse intermittent demand. Currently, our processes live in a world of time series analyses and classical supply chain min/max principles, that need to be properly upgraded into modern technology that allows us to embrace uncertainty and optimize inventory decisions based on our strategic vision. We're looking for a senior data strategist who will lead the way and will be building and heading a developers' team while being able to convince business stakeholders.
