Satellite IM Inc | Staff/Principle Software Developer (Typescript/Rust) | Remote (global) | Full Time Satellite is the first decentralized/web3 communications platform. The platform includes a full-featured voice/video/chat platform, a light-weight native mobile app, a framework for modular plugins. Candidate must have experience with: Writing libraries in Typescript and/or Rust Expert experience with at least one, with a desire to learn/use the other. Experience with both preferred Using WebRTC, Libp2p, and IPFS in production Breaking down very complex tasks into small manageable pieces ‘Sharing the load’ and dividing major tasks up among multiple team members Mentoring other developers Must have a strong interest in building privacy and security focussed applications Experience with blockchain technologies, Vue, Flutter a plus. Expected Salary Range: 140k+, USD We are a funded startup spread across 12 timezones, so good asynchronous communication skills, and an ability to work with a very diverse group of people is a must.
