You'll also work closely with a Technical Product Manager to facilitate discovery of value-add product additions that power the company’s growth in the near- and long-term. You will identify ways to proactively improve reliability, providing thought-leadership for the rest of Engineering around how best to build scalable, reliable systems. Although you may have never been a DBA, you're comfortable with typical DB performance issues (particularly for MySQL) to be able to identify them and maybe even resolve them.
