Tesla | Data Engineer | Full-Time | ONSITE (Fremont, CA) Come join the formation data team at Tesla working on building lithium-ion batteries! Formation is one of the last steps in battery manufacturing where the full cell is charged/discharged for the first time in order to form an SEI layer and generate electrochemical data that can be used to determine cell quality and performance. Our data pipelines consume raw timeseries data from millions of batteries and turn that into critical quality metrics which determine how cells are dispositioned. In this role, you'd be working on a team to build and scale Python-based services across multiple factory sites.
