NASA ADS | One DevOps Engineer + Two Back-End Engineer | Cambridge, MA (US) | Hybrid schedule | Full-time | H1B VISA Sponsorship The NASA Astrophysics Data System (the world-leading scientific literature search engine in Astronomy & Astrophysics, fully open source and free) is seeking three talented engineers (a DevOps and two Back-end engineer) to maintain and improve the search engine, data pipelines, and APIs, as well as the ADS natural language processing/deep learning efforts (transformers, BERT, GPT). - One DevOps Engineer, who will manage and improve our infrastructure, which consists on-premise Linux servers and a Kubernetes cluster in the cloud (AWS). - One Back-end Engineer, who will work on improving our back-office data pipelines and the user-facing public APIs (requires Python knowledge) - One Search/Back-end Engineer, who will work on improving our custom Apache Solr search engine (requires Java knowledge) and our back-office data pipelines (requires Python knowledge).
