Within Europe, LAAX is a uniquely integrated mountain destination, encompassing lifts, mountain operations, four snowparks, hotels, restaurants, bars, ski school, Freestyle Academy, bike trails, and more. Tying all this together is the LAAX App, our flagship digital product — connect your keycard, then collect badges as you unlock challenges skiing or snowboarding throughout the resort, or compete on the leaderboards, earning LAAX Points to spend directly in the app on food, drinks, or other rewards. Your work will be in the hands of tens of thousands of guests each month, all concentrated in one place. This creates the opportunity to be hands-on (and boots-on) in a way few other roles can offer. We’re looking for engineers who share the passion of our guests for the mountains, and want to build the best digital/physical experiences possible, in our beautiful alpine playground. To do that, you’ll be working with: * React / React Native / MobX * TypeScript / Node.js / Express / GraphQL / MongoDB / Postgres * AWS (EC2, S3, SES, SNS, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.) Ideally, you’re a fast learner who enjoys getting stuck in, and you already have significant experience building (B2C) mobile apps, with an eye for details and an intuition for what makes a great digital user journey.
