Agile Six | $138-$145 K + ESOP + Benefits | Remote only (but pretty much US only because federal contractor) | Full-time Agile Six is hiring a Software Quality Engineer! Agile Six (or A6) is a federal contractor. This specific position is for architecting improvements to our tests, test automation, probably some DevOps work, etc. Our team manages the Drupal 9 CMS and a static build system that takes content from Drupal and renders it to HTML to form most of the VA.gov website. This is a position that I've personally championed and I'm really excited about. We're all senior engineers here, we all do good work, but I'm pushing to increase our automated test coverage and improve our systems. I'm trying to find a Software Quality Architect kind of person, maybe someone with a QA background, or a DevOps engineer with a strong interest in quality, or a software engineer who's learned (as I have) that developing better policies, processes, and tools helps us sleep a little better at night. A6 is a fantastic place to work. We do purposeful civic-tech work, we value work-life balance, and we try to do the right thing thoughtfully, compassionately, and happily.
