Renaissance Learning (eduCLIMBER) - Senior Software Engineer PHP Fulltime - Remote US Renaissance Learning (https://www.renaissance.com/) has been a leader in K-12 education solutions since 1986. We currently provide solutions for 40% of US schools from teaching and practice to assessment and student information. In this role, you'll be on the eduCLIMBER engineering team. eduCLIMBER is a platform and framework for enabling schools and districts to provide MTSS (https://mtss4success.org/essential-components) for their students. MTSS is a practice that takes a "whole child view" approach to identifying and helping students who could use a helping hand to stay on track. eduCLIMBER provides tools to counselors, teachers and administrators to help find and reach out to individual students in order to offer the support they need. Our stack is simple and straightforward: VueJS -> PHP API -> MySQL on AWS. We're growing quickly and are expanding the engineering team to help our system maintain performance and reliability as we scale. This role will be on our API team, but we welcome anyone who wants to also do some frontend in TypeScript or data ingestion using Python.
