Harvard Library Innovation Lab | Senior Software Engineer: Backend + Data | Full time | Cambridge, MA (hybrid schedule, REMOTE possible) The Harvard Library Innovation Lab explores the future of libraries by building tools and communities for open knowledge. We build long term services like https://perma.cc, https://opencasebook.org, and https://case.law, and we host fellows like Molly White, creator of Web3 is Going Just Great. We are a creative, experimental place to build open source code that makes a difference. As part of our new focus on making library materials compatible with new modes of consumption, such as by Large Language Models, LIL is looking for someone skilled at processing large amounts of data with high fidelity. Through their understanding of libraries, this person will help us shape the wealth of data these institutions hold to meet the needs of data and AI engineers.
