Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool | Remote (UK) | Full-Time | Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) | Non-Profit | £38k-45k + 12% pension contrib + 36 days holiday Nature is declining globally at rates unprecedented in human history. 1 million animal and plant species are now threatened with extinction, many within decades, more than ever before in human history. The Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) is an partnership of top conservation charities / NGOs (IUCN, UN Environment Program) that have the gold standard of biodiversity datasets. IBAT then uses the datasets, mixed with the best conservation science, to help companies understand/reduce their impact on nature and they help fund conservation, it's a win-win.
